At Export Enterprises we make international trade more digital by offering Trade Intelligence Resources and cross-border marketplaces. Our solutions are offered to the business clients of 40+ leading Banks and Trade Organizations worldwide and are deployed through white-labeled platforms or via APIs.
Export Enterprises has over 40 staff coming from 10+ countries with a variety of International Trade, Banking, IT & Data content backgrounds. The team works in English or French, but written reference materials are in English. The company has an estimated 10% market share globally and has offices or representatives in Paris, Singapore, Beijing, Lome, Istanbul and Bogota.
We are currently hiring an intern to strengthen our Business Origination Management team.
Job description
As an Associate Business Origination Manager, you will join the Business Origination team to support the engagement of the Trade Clubs users.
Your daily tasks at Export Enterprises will consist in achieving successful introductions between companies that are members of the Trade Clubs

Review of the matchmaking suggestions proposed by our machine learning algorithm

Select the most relevant ones and submit them to the members

Follow up the outcome of the introduction

Participate with the Business Origination Team into strategic topics: improving user’s engagement, improving data quality, improving algorithm relevance, benchmarking
You will report directly to the Lead Business Origination Manager.
Experience:
-
Student preparing for a Master’s degree in International Business, Business, Marketing or Humanities

Preferably in the last year of studies for possible a pre-hiring
Skills:

Familiar with supply-chain: who typically buys what from whom
-
Familiar with B-to-B matchmaking
-
Good multicultural sensitivity (end-users are from Africa, Europe, America and Asia)

Familiar with digital products, preferably in the B-to-B domain

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Analytical, rigorous and methodical in your work

Accountable mindset, autonomous and proactive

Ability to dive deep into complex problems

Fluent in English and French (the company operates in both languages, with written material produced in English)
Knowledge about international trade is a plus.
